If you've already got the subtools merged together in this way and you want to weld the geometry together, you can try this approach: Duplicate detailed subtool Dynamesh the duplicate to combine meshes into one seamless mes Remember to activate symmetry on this new subtool before sculpting. That technique combines the subtools, but does not literally weld the geometry together. Ive been making some organic sculpts and its really hard to clone stuff by the way i do it :/ I click on the Duplicate button in the subtools menu and move it using transpose then just delete whichever of the two subtools you don't want to keep Ello m8s, im a novice at zbrush. Tools > Subtool > Split > ^ this splits polygroups to their own subtool. Tools > polygroups > ^ This creates polygroupes based on contiguous islands of geometry.
I dunno what's causing it but to split them apart. If you only want to duplicate a single SubTool within a folder, use the Tool > SubTool > Duplicate function instead blueSGL. The Duplicate function creates a copy of the active folder and its SubTools.
